Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actress since late 1980s. Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress. Bassett is a native of New York New York and fostered by an aunt in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Her mother split with her father at about five. She and her younger sister relocated to St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. Bassett was at the age of high school when she saw the James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck production Of Mice and Men and was aware that her goal of becoming an actor had been realized. Yale University New Haven Connecticut gave her a bachelor's degree (1980) which was in African American study, and an advanced degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale and, in 1997 they tied the knot. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in the year 1980. Master of Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama School. Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (7th grade), Azalea Middle School (8th and 9th grades), Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her lead roles, Ramonda, in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
